Ella Toone Met With Players From Workington FC Girls' Academy, Offering Advice On How She Became A Key Player For The Lionesses

Workington's club pathway has been established for several years, with boys' academy sides competing weekly in the Junior Premier League. The girls' academy was established a couple of years later and now has over 100 players ranging from foundation age groups to under-16 level.

Community director Richard Lewthwaite expressed gratitude to Ella Toone for spending time with the girls for photos and autographs. Workington FC is proud of its junior pathways and looks to develop future footballers. Big news about the girls' academy is coming in the new year, providing high-quality experiences for female footballers in West Cumbria on a regular basis.
