CEO Carlos Alberini announced the launch of the new Guess? Jeans brand, which aims to cater to the growing demand for business casual wear. According to Alberini, the brand will primarily target men's customers, offering competitive prices through both wholesale and direct-to-consumer channels.
The new visual identity and retail concept are also expected to play a significant role in the brand's success. With Y2K trends gaining popularity, licensing revenues have seen a 19% increase in Q3, with fragrances, handbags, watches, eyewear, and footwear being the best-performing product categories.
To further leverage the growth potential of licensing, Guess is working to "internalize businesses that are being licensed," such as its partnership with G-III for dresses and outerwear in North America.
