
The Big Green's twin starters, Carly and Erica Thorbahn, were no match for the visiting Wildcats, who used a 12-4 run in the second quarter to take the lead. Wayne Trace's sophomores, Careen and Caroline Winans, also contributed to the victory, with Careen scoring 10 points and Caroline pulling down eight rebounds.
Despite a strong first half from Ottoville's Carly Thorbahn, who scored 14 points, the Big Green were unable to keep up with Wayne Trace's defense in the second half, as the Wildcats limited Thorbahn to just two points.

Kelsie Carlson, of Bath, goes up for a shot against Alexis Whetstone of Shawnee during Thursday’s game at Bath High School. The undefeated Wildkittens have found team chemistry since claiming a narrow overtime victory at Sidney earlier this month.
An overtime win earlier this year at Sidney seems to have solidified the team chemistry for Bath’s girls basketball team.
