£93 Million Funding To Grassroots Sports Across UK Announced In Chichester:

The Chichester City FC's new stadium, Oaklands Park, was the venue for the recent funding announcement for grassroots sports across the UK. More than 1,100 multi-sport grassroots projects will benefit from the £93 million in funding, which will go towards the creation of new pitches, changing rooms, goalposts, and floodlights.

Chichester City Youth FC (CCYFC) will be one of the major beneficiaries, with over £700,000 in funding to help the club grow from 18 teams to 26. Additionally, Chichester City FC and CCYFC will work to strengthen their women and girls offer by increasing teams from six to 10 within the next five years.
