Former Pop Star Sheds Spotlight For Stage Debut

The Saturdays, a chart-topping UK girl band of the noughties, may have disbanded, but one of its members has found a new passion - acting. Vanessa, who was part of the group alongside Frankie Bridge, Mollie King, Una Healy, and Rochelle Humes, has traded in her microphone for a script and is now starring in a production of Harold Pinter's Betrayal at a Philippine theatre.

In an Instagram Story, the singer-turned-actress shared her excitement about her new role, revealing that she is "### her best ###" on stage. This marks a significant departure from her days as a pop star, when The Saturdays dominated the charts with hits like "Up," "All Fired Up," "Issues," and more. The group achieved thirteen top 10 records, five top 10 albums, and sold over five million records in the UK and Ireland during their heyday.
