Mt. Pleasant Girls Secure Victorious Comeback in New London Road Trip:

In a thrilling turn of events, the Mt. Pleasant girls basketball team emerged victorious in their road trip to New London, defeating the host team with a final score of 47-32. Despite a slow start, the Panthers managed to overcome their early scoring struggles and tighten their defense, leading to a decisive 15-point victory in the fourth quarter.

Led by Abby Carthey's 19 points and 12 steals from Hailey Parrott and Carthey, the Panthers outscored the Tigers by a margin of 15-6 in the final quarter. The team's strong defensive effort was complemented by a well-balanced ###sive performance, with four players scoring in double digits.
