LAKE REGION 60, SPRUCE MOUNTAIN 49: Ava Smith scored 10 of her 14 points in the second half as the Lakers (5-4) pulled away from the Phoenix (5-2) in Naples. Abbie Lavoie added 14 points for Lake Region. Bella Smith and Margo Tremblay each scored 12 points.
OCEANSIDE 62, LEAVITT 27: Bailey Breen tallied 32 total points for the undefeated Mariners (9-0) in their win over the Hornets (4-6) in Turner. Jenny Chaput scored 25 points, including 8 for 11 from the free-throw line, for Edward Little.

'College roundup: Bates, UMF athletes earn state basketball awards
For the second time this season, Bates senior guard Morgan Kennedy has been named co-player of the week by the Maine Women's Basketball Coaches Association.
The MWBCA announced its latest weekly honors Tuesday. Kennedy shared the Player of the Week award with University of New England's Jordyn Franzen.
