In a closely contested game, the A&M Consolidated girls basketball team emerged victorious against Rudder with a score of 56-49. Jomarea Thompson led the team with 24 points, followed by Rachel Moran with nine points and Chloee Lockett with seven points.
Da'Mya Turner and Paris Pavlas each contributed six points to the team's victory. Despite being led by Paris Mitchell's 16 points, Rudder was unable to overcome the Lady Rangers' strong performance. The Lady Rangers will face College Station on Friday at 6:30 p.m. at Cougar Gym, while Consol will take on Lake Creek at the same time.

COLLEGE STATION, Texas (KBTX) - A&M Consolidated beat Rudder 56-49 at Tiger Gym Tuesday night behind Jomarea "Me-Me" Thompson's 24 point performance.
Rudder returns to action at College Station on Friday while Consol travels to Lake Creek on Friday.

Rudder fans waited outside The Armory after the game and sent the Lady Rangers off the court and into the locker rooms with a round of applause.
In a matchup between the Lady Rangers and District 21-5A co-leader Magnolia West, neutral fans would've thought these were the top two teams in the district as the Lady Rangers gave a valiant effort, but fell 74-72 on Friday night.
