Image
The Camanche Storm girls bowling team has qualified for another state appearance after a dominant performance at the Class 1A State Qualifier on Monday. The team, which has been rolling strong all season, combined for a total team score of 3134 in baker games, easily taking first place and the lone state qualifying spot at their district.

The Storm's dominance continued with individual performances, taking the top five spots. However, only the top four individuals earned spots at the individual tournament. Kennady Bigwood led the way with a three-game series of 639, followed by Kloey Tebbe with 599, Annika Weber with 586, and Abbi Nylin with 581. The Storm will compete as a team at the Cadillac XBC in Waterloo next Tuesday, with the individuals competing on Wednesday.

The Clinton River Queens just barely missed out on state qualification, finishing in third place at the Class 2A State Qualifier in Oskaloosa.
