Last Two Dedicated 'Veggie Pret' Sites In London To Convert Back To Standard Stores

Image
Pret a Manger has announced that it will be converting its last two dedicated 'Veggie Pret' sites in London back to standard stores. The Broadwick Street branch in Soho and the Great Eastern Street branch in the City will undergo the conversion on February 19 and 26, respectively. This marks the end of an experiment that started in 2016, with the first outlet originally planned as a one-month trial but proving so popular that it became permanent.

According to Katherine Bagshawe, UK food & coffee director at Pret A Manger, one in three of all their main meals sales are now veggie or vegan-friendly. The 'Veggie Pret' concept has helped the company develop a wide variety of unique and delicious options that are enjoyed by both veggies and non-vegies alike, including their bestselling 'VLT' sandwich and fan favorite Very Berry Croissant.
