"This group hangs its hat on playing defense," Miller City coach Ross Heuerman said. "We're not the biggest team, we're not the strongest team, but we're aggressive and we fight hard."
The game was a back-and-forth affair, with both teams trading baskets throughout the night. Miller City took an 11-point lead in the second quarter, but Ottoville made a run in the second half to tie the game and force the first overtime.
In the second overtime, Miller City's defense proved to be too much for Ottoville, as they held them scoreless for the final 3 minutes of the game.
