Ruby is described as being around 5ft 5ins tall, of medium build, with long curly brown hair.
She was last seen wearing a white tracksuit. Police are urging anyone with information on the girls' whereabouts to come forward immediately.
Detective Sergeant Julie Morrow, from the Missing Persons Unit, is leading the investigation and is appealing for help in finding the girls. "It is crucial that we locate these two girls as soon as possible, as their young age makes them particularly vulnerable," she said.
