Christian Kirk: I'm ready to remind people of the player I am - NBC SportsThe Jaguars made significant changes to their wide receiver group this offseason, but there is one familiar face at the top of the depth chart.
Christian Kirk is back for a third season in Jacksonville, although it has been a while since the wideout has been on the field. Kirk missed the final five games of the 2023 season after having core muscle surgery, but said on Monday that he's back at full strength and aiming to show the league that he's the same player he was before the injury.
The Jaguars added Gabe Davis and first-round pick Brian Thomas while parting ways with Calvin Ridley and Zay Jones this offseason. The shuffling leaves Kirk as the most experienced member of the crew and he said he plans on leading the group by "giving them all the tools that I can to help them be successful" in 2024.

I've never been the biggest fan of Bethesda 's RPGs. Though I love the vibe of Fallout 3 , I never finished it, and I found Fallout 4 a bit of a slog. I've bounced off Skyrim several times, and haven't bothered to go back to the earlier Elder Scrolls games (though people ride so hard for Morrowind that I⁘m seriously considering it).
On the other hand, I love Obsidian because it zigs in all the places Bethesda zags. Bethesda⁘s games prioritize systemic interactions over character-driven roleplay, which makes clips from them interesting, but not very interesting to play. It⁘s extremely fun to see someone place a bunch of oranges or hunks of cheese on their spaceship and watch as they bounce off each other in realistically simulated ways. That isn⁘t something I⁘ll ever actually do in my own playthrough though, and in my experience, Bethesda⁘s games don⁘t actually do much to motivate players to seek out that kind of play. Games like Hitman and Tears of the Kingdom use challenging objectives or shrines to force you to engage with the game⁘s potential. That⁘s less common in Bethesda⁘s games ⁘ which may be a big part of the reason they leave me bored.
To kick off the Hot Topic, moderator Whoopi Goldberg noted that a sex therapist recently told The New York Post that "reading erotica is more effective that watching it." With that, Whoopi immediately tossed the question to Behar, who is known for encouraging a healthy sex drive.
True to form, Behar reiterated that her advice typically includes a drink on an empty stomach, a sexy book or movie, and then a new man.
"For some reason, I'm like the Dr. Ruth of this table," she joked, referring to the German-American sex therapist who quite literally wrote "Sex for Dummies."
So when Hostin offered up a potential book — "Summer on Highland Beach" the third in the series she wrote herself — Whoopi encouraged Behar to use Dr. Ruth's German accent to read a portion. And yes, she really did.
"Desire hit her hard and fast," Behar read with a thick accent. "She was burning up, sparked by fire, lit by joy. (dropping accent) Really? (in renewed accent) She'd forgotten how delicious spearmint tasted on her lips."
When she finished, Behar hid her face in the book as her cohosts stomped their feet, giggled, blushed and cheered. Meanwhile, executive producer Brian Teta followed Behar's lead and was hiding his face in his hands, shaking his head.
