According to an interview published in Entertainment Weekly on November 6, one of the silicone breast covers she was wearing under her sundress came loose due to the hot weather during the filming of her hometown date with suitor Charles "Chock" Chapple in Wichita, Kansas. The malfunction occurred when Vassos, who was wearing a sundress, began to sweat excessively due to the 105-degree weather. As she was trying to stop the breast pad from coming unstuck with her arm, it slipped down to her stomach and eventually fell off the bottom of her dress... coming to rest by her foot.

The incident occurred while Chock was telling his family and friends about his feelings for Vassos and their shared journey. Despite the embarrassing moment, Vassos's chances with Chock did not seem to be affected, as he is one of her final two suitors. Viewers will get to see Vassos make her final choice between Chock, an insurance executive, and Guy Gansert, a 66-year-old emergency room doctor, during the season finale of Golden Bachelorette next Wednesday, November 13, "on ABC."
