In the coming weeks, several holiday-themed television programming options will be available for viewers to enjoy. One such offering is the second season of "Beat Bobby Flay: Holiday Throwdown," a reality show hosted by celebrity chef Bobby Flay. The program, which premieres on November 12 on the Food Network, features a diverse range of culinary artists competing to outdo Flay's cooking skills.
The festive special kicks off with Thanksgiving-themed episodes and will culminate on New Year's Eve. Participating chefs include Ina Garten, Eric Adjepong, Sunny Anderson, Gabriele Bertaccini, Maneet Chauhan, Adrienne Cheatham, and Scott Conant, among others. Another holiday offering is the "Family Guy" Christmas episode, titled "Gift of the White Guy." In this episode, Baby Stewie attempts to remove his name from the naughty list... while Peter Griffin faces a predicament after accidentally giving Lois's brooch away in a White Elephant exchange.
The episode will be available on Hulu starting November 25. The 98th annual "Countdown to Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade Special" will also air on November 27 on NBC. The special will feature 17 giant balloons, including new characters such as Minnie Mouse and Spider-Man, and celebrates the start of the holiday shopping season.
Later in the holiday season... popular chat show host Jimmy Fallon will present "Jimmy Fallon's Holiday Seasoning Spectacular" on December 4 on NBC. The primetime special will be followed by the televised Rockefeller Center tree-lighting ceremony. The event will feature musical guests Justundefined, Dolly Parton, and "Weird Al" Yankovic, "as well as family-friendly festive entertainment." The same musical artists and performers will also feature on Fallon's album "Holiday Seasoning," which was released undefined.
