Apple Martin has been defended after catching a lot of attention for being a 'mean girl' at a debutante ball in Paris on Saturday night.
The young star looked incredible but faced 'mean girl' accusations following the event as a viral video gained 4.5 million views on TikTok.
A video from the event from Paris Match went viral on the social media platform as the star posed for a photographer and suggested that she was 'muscling in' on someone's snapshot moment.
Martin has since been defended by the French debutant who appears in the video, Aliénor Loppin de Montmort, who said she's 'the nicest girl ever.'
Speaking to People Magazine , she said: '[Apple's] genuinely the nicest girl ever! She really doesn't deserve an ounce of what she's getting.
'She would never mean to take the spotlight from anyone, that was not her intention. To characterize her as a mean girl is very untrue.'
The event was dubbed the 'nepo baby' ball by critics, who highlighted that only the upper echelon of the richest of the rich was in attendance at this event.
