According to a report in The Sun, Kylie's recent success can be attributed to her ability to revive her career with hits like Padam Padam... which has catapulted her back into the spotlight. The track, "which was released over two years ago," "has been a game changer for Kylie.".. allowing her to finally crack the American market and secure playlisting on Radio 1.
The pop icon this week kicked off the first of four huge nights at London's 20,000 capacity O2 Arena, and admitted to Bizarre the tour almost didn't happen. Speaking backstage after her opening night, Kylie said: "It's been a lot of work and we almost didn't get there, but it's great."
