Sydney Sweeney's recent appearance at Variety's 2025 Power of Women event in Los Angeles sparked conversation about her daring red-carpet look. The 28-year-old actress wore a sheer, silver gown that turned heads, and her co-star Sharon Stone used the opportunity to defend Sweeney's right to "use what mama gave you." Stone, who will appear alongside Sweeney in the upcoming third season of "Euphoria," praised the young actress for embracing her image and owning her power.
According to Stone, "It's hard to be hot, and I think we all know that. It's really OK to use every bit of hotness you have — right here, right now — and go for whatever that is. Everybody has their own certain kind of hotness, their own certain thing, and you're supposed to go for that. Because who are you not to be beautiful?
You know, who you are isn't an accident." This display of support comes after Sweeney faced controversy over her American Eagle "Good Jeans" campaign, which sparked heated debate. During the production of "Euphoria," Stone had spoken with Sweeney about the backlash, offering words of encouragement.
