Spice Girls Will Have Their Own Set Of Stamps To Mark Their 30th Anniversary

The set of 15 special stamps will be available for pre-order on January 5 and go on general sale on January 11. Royal Mail worked closely with the band and Universal Music Group to choose images that celebrate the Spice Girls' "incredible legacy." The group sold over 100 million records worldwide and achieved nine UK number one singles.

They are the biggest female group of all time and have won numerous awards, including two Ivor Novello Awards, three BRITS, three American Music Awards, and four global MTV Awards. The stamps feature images of the group members, including their iconic "Spice World" photoshoot.

'Spice Girls’ 30th Anniversary Celebrated With U.K. Postage Stamps – Billboard

The 10 main stamps include images from the Brit Awards in 1997, featuring Ginger Spice in her iconic Union Jack dress , and their performance at the closing ceremony of the London 2012 Summer Olympic Games.

An additional five stamps are available on a miniature sheet, comprising individual snaps from the photoshoot for the 1998 feature film, Spice World .
