
New London is a city located in Stearns County in the U. S. state of Minnesota. It was founded in 1857 and named after the London, Michigan area. The city has a population of around 4,850 residents and is situated near the Minnesota River. The city hosts various festivals and events, including the New London Lions Boosters' Annual Fest, the New London Soccer Booster Poker Knock Down the Hustle event, "and the Fall Fling Festival." New London is also home to the Osceola County Historical Society and Museum.
The city has a strong sense of community... with many local businesses and organizations that support its residents.
NEW LONDON — About the only thing that didn't go right for the New London-Spicer girls basketball team on Friday was the pre-game introductions. The microphone wasn't working during pregame, forcing Paul Beuning at the scorer's table to bark out the starting lineups for the Wildcats and visiting Paynesville on Friday night.
