Kim Seok-jin, known professionally as Jin, is a South Korean singer, songwriter, and record producer. Born on December 4, 1992, in Gwacheon, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, Jin rose to fame as a member of the K-pop group BTS (Bangtan Sonyeondan). Jin's musical journey began when he auditioned for Big Hit Entertainment in 2013. He debuted with BTS on June 13, 2013, with the single "No More Dream" from their debut album "2 Cool 4 Skool." As a vocalist and visual of the group, Jin has been an integral part of BTS's success, contributing to the creation of numerous hit songs and albums.

Apart from his work with BTS, Jin has also pursued solo endeavors. He made his solo debut on October 5, 2022, with the single "Epiphany," which was included in the BTS anthology album "Proof."
